Bowmen of the deans have been in existence since 1984.

we are a small club(currently about 20 members) which promotes the sport of archery in the forest of dean.At present we are the only club in the forest of dean.

During the summer we meet at the King George V recreation ground,coleford.During the winter months we meet at newent community centre.

The club was founded in 1984 by one of our members keith phelps,who is now honorary chairman.

We welcome people from all backgrounds and abilities,and from all age groups(as long as they can safely use the equipment)
